How to monitor brand mentions on Reddit, LinkedIn, and Quora at scale
If you've tried to keep up with brand mentions across Reddit, LinkedIn, and Quora using a generic listening tool, you've probably hit the same wall everyone else does: the volume is fine, but the signal-to-noise ratio is brutal. By the time you spot the conversation that actually matters — a buyer asking which tool to choose, a thread on a sub you didn't know existed — the moment has passed.
This guide walks through how to monitor mentions across these three platforms at scale without drowning in alerts, building a workflow that surfaces only what's worth your team's time.
Why these three platforms matter
Reddit, LinkedIn, and Quora cover three fundamentally different stages of buyer intent:
- Reddit — high-volume peer-to-peer recommendations. People ask "what should I use for X?" and trust the answer from a stranger more than a brand. The platform-wide search and per-subreddit feeds make it the densest source of organic demand signals.
- LinkedIn — professional context. Mentions here come with full job titles, company size, and industry. A LinkedIn post about your competitor is qualitatively different from a Reddit comment because the author is signing with their reputation.

The four-stage workflow
1. Define narrow, intent-led keywords
